An Annapolis-based boutique branding agency that serves a variety of small to medium-sized businesses primarily utilizes independent contractors. The independent contractors needed are usually content writers, SEO specialists, graphic designers, and WordPress developers. The immediate need varied based on the client's need at that moment. MB Branding Solutions needed a way to quickly source, and vet candidates for these projects based on budget and ability to collaborate with the existing remote team.

The Challenge

• The client simply did not have the time to source, and vet candidates and wanted to focus on client work and business development.

• Relying on referrals alone was too slow and unpredictable.

• Job boards like Indeed and Monster did not prove to be successful and drained budgets without providing quality candidates.

The Solution

• After we do a requirements call we provide a short list of 3-5 candidates usually within 7-14 days based on the immediate technical need.

• The candidates we provide range in experience, hourly rate, client-facing ability, and portfolio types so the client can make an informed decision on who they decide to work with.
