Sometimes it can be confusing for managers to understand the context of the projects you've worked on. Especially for lesser-known companies.

For example, say for example your work at "ABC Company"

It can be incredibly helpful for people viewing your resume to understand the industry they operate in.

For example "Health & Beauty", "Automotive", "Insurance", "Financial Services" etc...

This helps recruiters and hiring managers to have a better understanding of the types of projects you've worked on.

Employers often tend to look for themselves in the candidate or if the candidate has solved a problem similar to what they are dealing with.

The more parallels between the candidate and the employer the better.
